Mehmet Avcı began his business life in Gaziantep in 1960, trading peanuts and raisins. Today the company he built is among the leading firms in the boulgur sector.
His path to boulgur began when a firm persistently asked him to take on 4 tons of boulgur. Although he had not planned to sell it, he agreed, made a good profit and went on to rent a boulgur factory with three partners. In 1966 he parted ways with his partners and continued in the boulgur trade alone, and in 1974 he established his own factory.
Today Mis Bulgur has earned a reputation both in Türkiye and abroad. Alongside boulgur, the company produces husked wheat and pulses, with an annual production capacity of approximately 35,000 tons.
Following technology closely, Mis Bulgur brings its products to market from hygienic, touch-free production with modern machines. We aim to keep pace with technology year after year.
